Conformal diffeomorphisms and curvatures
In a study of Riemannian manifolds admitting conformal transformation, the Riemannian and Ricci curvatures play an important role for characterizations and classify such a manifold. In this note, we summarize known results about Riemannian manifold admitting conformal transformations and related topics.
متن کاملConformal Symmetry and Universal Properties of Quantum Hall States
The low-lying excitations of a quantum Hall state on a disk geometry are edge excitations. Their dynamics is governed by a conformal field theory on the cylinder defined by the disk boundary and the time variable. We give a simple and detailed derivation of this conformal field theory for integer filling, starting from the microscopic dynamics of (2 + 1)-dimensional non-relativistic electrons i...
متن کاملOn the Application of Conformal Symmetry to Quantum Field Theory*
To leading order in CX~ ( Q2), conformal symmetry specifies the eigensolutions of the evolution equation for meson distribution amplitudes, the wavefunctions which control large-momentum-transfer exclusive mesonic processes in &CD. We find that at next to leading order, the eigensolutions in various field theories depend on the regularization scheme, even for zero p-function. This is contrary t...
متن کاملRestricted Quantum Affine Symmetry of Perturbed Minimal Conformal Models
We study the structure of superselection sectors of an arbitrary perturbation of a conformal field theory. We describe how a restriction of the q-deformed ŝl(2) affine Lie algebra symmetry of the sine-Gordon theory can be used to derive the S-matrices of the Φ perturbations of the minimal unitary series. This analysis provides an identification of fields which create the massive kink spectrum. ...
